.40 Glock - I bought a G23 Gen 3 a few months ago and it has become my favorite weapon of all time, and I own several guns. I also picked up a 9mm conversion barrel for it, so I can shoot 40 s&w or 9mm out of it, and it's a perfect gun to carry or use as a range toy. If you're considering a G19, I think you'd go with a G23 and a conversion barrel. This gun can be converted to shoot 4 different calibers (it comes in 40 s&w, you can get a 9mm or .357 conversion barrel, and you can also get a .22lr conversion kit for it). All around awesome gun! Highly recommend this weapon.
I like the grip on the Gen 4 better than the Gen 3. It feels more secure in the hand. The dimensions of the 23 are suitable for carry, although they can absorb the rear and provide a long picture of the sight. I also like the idea of a .357 Sig conversion barrel. In my opinion, you can't beat a Glock.
.40 Glock
I honestly use to hate Glocks. They were blocky and clumsy guns that didn't fit my hand at all. Recently my wife wanted one we went to the store and she was watching as the salesperson put the gen 4 in my hand and it felt like a glove. After some research I found out that they modeled the Gen 4 after the 1911 grip which I love the 1911, but I also love how much I can customize the Glock. So the 23 Gen 4 is probably the last gun I'll ever buy until it gets destroyed.
Used Gun Glock 22 Gen 4 .40 Pistol
I first owned a Glock and it turned out to be my number 1 gun to pick up. Fast, easy and reliable. I have owned a number of different semi autos from various manufacturers and this is by far the best I have shot. I will fine tune it with the spring kit and barrel but even out of the box I am consistently getting 5” groups at 9-12 yards. thank you
I bought a Gen 3 a few years ago. I still love guns to this day. I'd like to get a Gen 4 one day, but haven't felt the need to do so yet. I loved having it for off-duty carry when I was in law enforcement. Not too heavy and still holds a decent amount of rounds. I recommend it to almost everyone who wants to hide.
I love I had a gen 5 G19, my friend convinced me to switch. Exactly the same size. Fits all my Glock 19 holsters with no problem. Can also shoot 9mm. I think it's great!
Tried the Glock 23 and immediately fell in love, great gun and different feel. Expect a lot more recoil but it's moderate for the caliber, it's a great gun. This isn't my first Glock, I've had a G17, G19, G23, G30SF and G45 but my G23 feels different.

I love the Glock store. So much video information, and great service. I didn't buy my gun here. I am 12 miles from Buds gun shop in Lexington, KY. This was my first and only gun. I bought it and never shot it for 2+ years. I was ashamed, then I retired and got acquainted with my new friend. I changed the spring, it made a big difference. This Glock 23 is a Gen 4. I put an XS big dot sight on it. Now I love this, very fast on target. Bam her and you there. I put in a Blacklist barrel and Glock Joe trigger. Very dry fire, this can be seen when I go to the range. There is a book called Navy SEAL Shooting, by Chris Sajnog. I learned a lot, about how to shoot. Chris Sajnog was the SEAL shooting instructor. Money well spent. You can't go wrong with this Glock 23. It does everything a handgun is supposed to do. Now you have to do your part and learn how to use it. Hope this helps CBH
I bought a glock 31 which is a sig 357 caliber with one magazine. I bought 2 more Sig 357 magazines from the gun broker but the salesman said they couldn't find the magazines so to make a long story short she went out and bought me (2) 40 caliber magazines and assured me they would work for the 357. After one gun I bought a 40 ACP caliber barrel. So now I had a Sig 357 pistol and a 40 ACP caliber pistol with 3 magazines. Then I bought a 9mm barrel conversion and (3) 9mm magazines so by buying one gun and a few extras I now have 3 different caliber guns. Glock Rules!!!!!! Next I'm getting a 22LR conversion.
I bought my Glock 23 40 cal from a dealer in Tulsa, Oklahoma about 20 years ago! This gun has never failed me. This is the best firearm I have had the pleasure of owning. I used it while on duty in two different police agencies. It's a solid weapon and a joy to have!
